Before pitching

Choose a permitted, stable site away from falling branches, flood paths, cliff edges and open flame. Inspect fabric, seams, poles, anchors, cords and zippers. Check the forecast and local rules; no portable tent is a substitute for safe weather judgment.

Use and care

Stake and guy the shelter according to conditions, maintain ventilation and keep stoves, heaters, candles and flames outside and safely away. Dry the tent fully before storage. Remove dirt gently and avoid harsh solvents or high heat.
